Military Service

He was appointed as a Probationary (Temp.) Sub-Lieutenant RNVR. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (P) (Temp.) RNVR. He served in H.M.S. St. Vincent for #37 Pilot Training Course. He served in #14 Elementary Flying Training School, #31 Service Flying Training School, (Transferred to RCNVR 01/01/1944). He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (P) (Temp.) RCNVR. He served in H.M.S. Illustrious for 810 RN Squadron 1944. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (P) (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 24/07/1944). (He was demobilized.)
