Biography
He was the son of Jacob Arnet. He was a commercial fisherman and owned the seiner Cape Beale which he leased to the RCN for Second World War service.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as a Coxswain (Fishermen's Reserve Section) RCNR (With seniority dated 04/08/1938). (Mobilized for World War Two service 04/09/1939). He was appointed as a Skipper Coxswain (Fishermen's Reserve Section) RCNR (With seniority dated 01/07/1940). He served in HMCS Chatham for HMCS Cape Beale (In command) 1939. He was appointed as a Chief Skipper (Fishermen's Reserve Section) (RCNR) 1940. (He was demobilized.)
