Biography
After his naval service he worked on the ALS Campaign and with cancer patients.

He was appointed as an Ordinary Seaman RCN 1944. He served in HMCS Cornwallis for New Entry Training 1944. He served in HMCS Prince Robert. He served in HMCS Uganda. He served in HMCS Ontario. He served in HMCS Naden. He served in HMCS Stadacona. He was appointed as a Radar Control Rating. (CFR. He served in H.M.S. Hawke, the Royal Navy Upper Yardman's College 1948. He was appointed as A/Sub-Lieutenant RCN (With seniority dated 01/05/1949). He was appointed as Sub-Lieutenant RCN (With seniority dated 01/05/1949). He served in HMCS Sioux 1951.
