Biography
After his naval service he worked for the St. Lawrence Seaway Authority.

He was appointed as an A/CQMS McGill COTC (With seniority dated 26/09/1942). (Transferred to RCNVR), He was appointed as an Ordinary Seaman RCNVR (With seniority dated 26/03/1943). He served in H.M.S. Puncher 1944, (Transferred to RCN). He was appointed as an AB AAIII RCN (With seniority dated 19/10/1945). He was appointed as a LS AAIII RCN (With seniority dated 14/02/1947). (CFR. He served in the Royal Navy Upper Yardmen's College) 1948. He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant RCN (With seniority dated 01/04/1948). He served with the Royal Navy for training 1948, HM Submarine Anchorite 1949. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant RCN (With seniority dated 01/03/1950). He served in HMCS Micmac 1950. He was appointed as a Lieutenant RCN (With seniority dated 16/11/1950). He served in HMCS Iroquois (Korean War Service) 1951. He served in NHQ as Flag Lieutenant to Chief of Naval Staff and the Naval Board of Canada 1952. He served in HMCS Iroqouois 1953. He served on the Navigation Long Course 1954. He served in Royal Roads (Canadian Services College) For Duty With Cadet Training Establishment as Term Lieutenant 1955. He served in HMCS Comox as Executive Officer and Squadron Navigation Officer 1955. He served in HMCS Fortune as Executive Officer and as Squadron Navigation Officer 1957. He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander (N) RCN (With seniority dated 16/11/1958). He served in HMCS Naden on Staff of Reserve Training Commander as Senior Navigation Instructor UNTD and as Equipment and Trials Officer (ND) West Coast 1959. He served in HMCS Sussexvale as Executive Officer and Squadron Navigation Officer 1959. He served on the Advanced (Dagger) Navigation Long Course 1965. He was qualified as a Navigating Officer (Advanced). He served in HMCS Bonaventure as Navigating Officer 1965. He served in HMCS Porte St. Jean (In command) and as Commander Reserve Training Squadron 1966. (He was retired on 01/09/1967.)
