Biography
He was living in Ottawa ON at the time of his recruitment. In the early and mid-1980s he was medical director of the Vancouver blood centre operated by the Canadian Red Cross. He was Clinical Professor Emeritus in the University of B.C.'s Faculty of Medicine's Hematology Division. He retired in 2005 after 27 years in the department.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as an Instructor Cadet (UNTD) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 02/01/1958). He served in HMCS Cataraqui for UNTD 1957-1958. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant RCN(R). He was appointed as a Lieutenant RCN(R) (With seniority dated 01/07/1962). He served as a Term Lieutenant and Navigation Instructor 1962-65. (He was released.) (He was qualified as a pilot for navala aviation.)
