Biography
He was appointed as a Radio Officer in British and Canadian Merchant Marine ships 1936-1941. After his naval service he joined DSS as Director General Marine & Industrial Machinery 1980. He joined Canadian Vickers Ltd. as Director Business Development 1981. He joined Versatile Systems Inc. as President in 1984 and YARD Inc. as President 1985 and VSEL Defence Systems Canada as President 1987. He worked with VSEL DSC as Director 1989. He was the Past Commodore of the Britannia Yacht Club in Ottawa ON.

He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (SB) (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 22/07/1941). He served in HMCS Stadacona for Duty at HMC Dockyard for Anti-Submarine Base Maintenance 1942. He was appointed as a Electrical Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 22/07/1943) (Later backdated to 1942). He served in HMCS Cornwallis on Staff of HMC Torpedo School 1943. He served in HMCS Nootka as Electrical Officer (Korean War Service) 1950. He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander (L) RCN (With seniority dated 01/07/1950). He served in HMCS Stadacona On Staff of Flag Officer Atlantic Coast as Assistant Command Electrical Officer 1951. He served in HMCS Niobe as Member of the RCN Technical Team for HMCS Bonaventure Project at Bath UK 1952. He served in HMCS Niobe as Senior Electrical Officer Belfast Northern Ireland 1953.
