| He was appointed as an Ordinary Seaman RCN (With seniority dated 05/10/1946). He attended Supply and Secretariat School, Prepatory School and a Supply Officers Techncal Course (SOTC#11) all at HMCS Naden. (CFR) He he was promoted to A/Sub Lieutenant (S) with seniority dated 10/04/1953 and posted to HMCS Shearwater as Pay Cash and Stores Accounts Officer. He served in HMCS Stadacona as Assistant Commodore's Secretary in 1955. He served in HMCS Quebec as Captain's Secretary 1955. He served in HMCS Haida as Supply Officer 1956. He served in HMCS Cornwallis as Captain's Secretary 1958. He served in HMCS Hochelaga as OfficerÂin-Charge Supply Trades Training 1961. He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander (S) RCN (With seniority dated 10/02/1963). He served in HMCS Mackenzie as Supply Officer and on Staff of Commander Third Escort Squadron as Squadron Supply Officer 1964. He served as Senior Staff Officer to Superintendent HMC Dockard Esquimalt 1966 . He served in NDHQ on Staff of ADM (Materiel) as Deputy and Acting Director of Materiel Authorization 1967. He served in NDHQ on Staff of ADM (Materiel) as Sub-Section Head (Avionics) for Directorate of Procurement Supply (Air)1970. He retired on 28/10/1973. (He was qualified for supply duties). |
