Military Service

He was appointed as an Officer Cadet RCN 1967. He served in the Royal Military College of Canada 1967. He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant (MARE) (With seniority dated 22/05/1971). He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (MARE) (With seniority dated 22/05/1971). He served in RN Engineering College Manadon for Combat Systems Engineering Training 1971. He served in CFB Halifax for Canadian Forces Fleet School for Combat Systems Engineering Sub-Specialty Course 1972. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (MARE) (With seniority dated 01/05/1973). He served in HMCS Kootenay as Combat Systems Engineer 1973. He served in NDHQ for Directorate of Maritime Combat Systems as Project Engineer (Underwater Systems) 1974. He served in the Royal Military College of Canada for Post-Graduate Studies in Electrical Engineering 1975. He served in NDHQ for Staff of Directorate of Marine and Electrical Engineering as Project Officer (Interior Communications and Navigation Systems) 1977.
