Military Service
He was appointed as a Coxswain (Fishermen's Reserve Section) RCNR (With seniority dated 24/12/1941). He served in HMCS Givenchy (II) for HMCS Springtime V (in command) 1942. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 10/02/1944). He served in HMCS Givenchy 1945. (He died 09/02/1945 while serving in HMCS Givenchy).
