On his death he was interred in the Veterans Cemetery in Victoria, BC Canada.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as a Boy Seaman RCN (With seniority dated 24/03/1941). He was appointed as an Ordinary Seaman RCN (With seniority dated 05/07/1941). In 1941 he served in HMCS Beaver. He was appointed as an Able-Seaman RCN (With seniority dated 05/04/1942). In 1942 he served in Combined Operations in North Africa for the Allied landings at Arzew (French North Africa) on November 8, 1942. He was appointed as an A/Leading Seaman RCN (With seniority dated 01/02/1943). He was appointed as an A/Petty Officer RCN (With seniority dated 15/12/1943). He served in HMS Dauntless. He served in HMS Howe. (CFR. He served in HMS Collingwood for the Royal Navy Upper Yardmen's College) 1944, He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant RCN (With seniority dated 01/09/1944). In 1944 he served in HMS Escellent for Training. In 1944 he served with the Royal Navy for Lieutenant's qualifying courses. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant RCN (With seniority dated 01/09/1944). He was appointed as a Lieutenant RCN (With seniority dated 01/02/1945). In 1945 he served in HMS Black Prince. In 1946 he served in HMCS Naden. In 1947 he served in HMCS Queen as Staff Officer. He served in HMCS Portage as Executive Officer 1948. He served in HMCS Iroquois as Executive Officer. He served in HMCS Stadacona for Communications Course 1949. In 1949 he served in HMCS Niagara on loan with the US Navy for duty with Commander-in-Chief US Fleet Atlantic. In 1952 he served in HMCS Shearwater as Communications Officer. He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander RCN (With seniority dated 01/02/1953). He served in HMCS Magnificent as Communications Officer 1954. In 1955 he served in HMCS Stadacona. He served in HMCS Naden on Staff of Flag Officer Pacific Coast as Assistant Staff Officer (Intelligence) 1956-1964. (He was released (deceased) in 1964.)
