He served in Ottawa as Medical Officer. He served in HMCS Saguenay as Medical Officer. He served in HMCS Fraser as Medical Officer. He served in HMCS Margaree as Medical Officer. He was appointed as an A/Surgeon Lieutenant-Commander (Temp.) RCNVR 1943. He served in HMCS Naden on Medical Staff. He was appointed as a Surgeon Lieutenant-Commander (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 01/07/1944). He was appointed as an A/Surgeon Commander (Temp.) RCNVR, (Transferred to RCN 1945). He was appointed as an A/Surgeon Commander RCN (With seniority dated 01/10/1945). He served in HMCS Uganda as Principal Medical Officer 1945.
