Biography
After his naval service he was in private engineering practice.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as a Probationary Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 01/07/1942). He served in HMCS Nipigon 1942. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 01/05/1943). He was appointed as a Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 01/07/1944). (He was demobilized 1945), (Transferred to RCNR 01/06/1950). He was appointed as a Constructor Lieutenant RCN(R) (With seniority dated 05/02/1949). He served in the RN College Greenwich 1950, (Transferred to RCN 1951).
