Military Service
He was appointed as a Coxswain (Fishermen's Reserve Section) RCNR (With seniority dated 29/12/1941). In 1942 he served in HMCS Howe Sound. He wasappointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 10/02/1944) In 1944 he served in HMCS Spray. (He was demobilized.)
