Biography
He obtained a Diploma in Navigation in 1961. He had a Master Foreign Sea-Going Certificate from Southampton University 1970. Pier Supervisor Port of Montréal 1971. Diploma in Port and Shipping Administration University of Wales 1972. He wored with the National Harbours Board HQ as a Special Projects Coordinator in 1972. He was the Harbour Master of the Port of Québec 1973-1991.)

He was appointed as an Officer Cadet (Institut Maritime du Quebec Rimouski) 1959. He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant RCN(R) 1961. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant RCN(R). He was appointed as a Lieutenant (NR) 1971. He served in HMCS Donnacona as Assistant Naval Control of Shipping Officer 1971, (On loan to RNR) 1971. He served in H.M.S. He served in HMCS Montcalm as Executive Officer 1979. He served in HMCS Montcalm as Commanding Officer 1981-86. He was appointed as a Commander (NR) (With seniority dated 01/01/1982).
