Military Service
He was appointed as a Naval Cadet RCN 1916. He served in the Royal Naval College of Canada (Seventh Term) 1916. He was appointed as a Midshipman RCN (With seniority dated 25/02/1919). He served in H.M.S. Orion for Training 1919. He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant RCN (With seniority dated 24/06/1921). He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant RCN (With seniority dated 24/06/1921). He was appointed as a Lieutenant RCN (With seniority dated 27/07/1922). He served in HMCS Stadacona 1923. He served in HMCS Champlain as First Lieutenant 1928. He served in H.M.S. Tiger 1930. He served in HMCS Stadacona 1930. He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander RCN (With seniority dated 25/07/1934). He served in NHQ as Assistant Director of Naval Reserves 1934. He served in HMCS Saguenay as First Lieutenant 1936. He served in HMCS Stadacona 1938. He served in HMCS Saguenay (I) (In command) 1939. He served in HMCS Naden as Commodore-in-Command RCN Barracks Esquimalt and Officer-in-Charge RCN Depot Esquimalt 1950. (He was discharged dead 19/02/1951) (He was buried at sea from HMCS Ontario in 1951.)
