He was the brother of Angus Neish. started in the fishing industry at the age of sixteen on the Baleares for Peter Ambrose. He worked as a commercial fisherman in BC as well as a union organizer. He continued fishing after the war and worked as a union organizer for the United Fishermen and Allied Workers Union. |
