Military Service
He was appointed as a Skipper (Fishermen's Reserve Section) RCNR. He served in HMCS Givenchy (II) for HMCS Flores (In command) 1942. He was appointed as a Skipper Coxswain (Fishermen's Reserve Section) RCNR (With seniority dated 01/01/1943). (Transferred to RCNVR). He was appointed as a Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 10/02/1944). He served in HMCS Givenchy. (He was demobilized.)
