Biography
After his naval service he worked at NDHQ as Administration Manager on Long Range Patrol Aircraft Project 1972, NDHQ as Assistant Director General Aeronautical Engineering & Maintenance (Policy and Coordination) 1981. He retired again 01/04/1985. (Qualified with Engine Room Watchkeeping Certificate and Certificate of Competancy in Marine Engineering and for air engineering duties)
 
Military Service
He was appointed as a Aircraft Apprentice RN 1942. He served in RNAS Maydown for 744 RN Squadron 1945. He served in RNAS Nutt's Corner 1945. He was appointed as an Aircraft Artificer 4th Class (Petty Officer) RN (With seniority dated 01/01/1947). He served in RCAF Edmonton for Combined RN/RCN Trials Team (Winter Experimental Establishments) 1948. He served in RNAS Gosport for 720 RN Squadron 1948. (He served on Loan from RN to RCN). He was appointed as a Aircraft Artificer 3rd Class (Chief Petty Officer) 1949. He served in 803 RCN Squadron. He served in 19th Carrier Air Group 870 RCN Squadron. (Transferred to RCN 01/10/1951). He served in HMCS Shearwater as Chief Aircraft Inspector 1951-54. He served in HMCS Naden for RCN Preparatory School 1954, (CFR. He served in the Royal Navy Upper Yardman's College H.M.S. Temeraire 1954). He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant (E) RCN (With seniority dated 01/08/1955). He served in RN College Greenwich for Junior Officer's War Course. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (E) RCN (With seniority dated 01/09/1955). He served in RN Engineering College Manadon for Basic Engineering Course 1956. He served in HMCS Bonaventure for Engineering Training. He served in HMCS Ottawa for Engineering Training 1958. He served in HMCS Crescent for Engineering Training 1958. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (E) RCN (With seniority dated 16/05/1958). He served in RN Engineering College Manadon for Aeronautical Engineering Specialist Course 1959. He served in HMCS Columbia as Engineering Officer. He served in VU-32 Squadron as Air Enginering Officer 1960.
