Military Service
He was appointed as a Coxswain (Fishermen's Reserve Section) RCNR (With seniority dated 06/08/1938), (Mobilized for World War Two service). He was appointed as a Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNR (With seniority dated 24/07/1942). He served in HMCS Hepatica. He served in HMCS Stadacona for Command Course 1943. He served in HMCS Bayfield (In command) 1944. He served in HMCS Middlesex. (He was demobilized.)
