Biography
(He was qualified as a Master Mariner.) He was the Master of the Anyox. He worked briefly for the New England Fish Co. He was mate aboard the Mastadon while dredging the Alberni Canal and the First Narrows gap.

He was appointed as a Coxswain RCNR (Fishermen's Reserve Section) (With seniority dated 22/11/1938). (He was not mobilized for Second World War service.)
