Military Service
He was appointed as a Coxswain (Fishermen's Reserve Section) RCNR (With seniority dated 16/02/1942). In 1944 he served in HMCS Camenita (In command) as tender to HMCS Chatham. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 10/02/1944). He served in HMCS Crest 1944. (He was demobilized.)
