Military Service

He was appointed as an Ordinary Seaman RCN. (CFR). He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (S) RCN (With seniority dated 01/05/1955). He was appointed as a Lieutenant (S) RCN (With seniority dated 06/03/1956). He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander RCN (With seniority dated 06/03/1964). In 1965 he served in HMCS St. Laurent. He served in NDHQ on Staff of Chief Logistics Engineering and Development. (He was released 1970.) (He was qualified for supply duties).
