He re-joined as a Paymaster Cadet RCN (Special Entry No. 16) 1924. He served in H.M.S. Thunderer 1924. He served in H.M.S. Collingwood. He was appointed as a Paymaster Midshipman RCN (With seniority dated 01/09/1925). He was appointed as an A/Paymaster Sub-Lieutenant RCN (With seniority dated 01/09/1927). He was appointed as a Paymaster Sub-Lieutenant RCN (With seniority dated 01/09/1927). He served in HMCS Naden 1927. He passed the Accountant Officer's Technical Course.
