On January 30, 1964 this lumber barge broke loose from her tow by the Mikimiki while crossing the Columbia River Bar with a load of lumber. this vessel was damaged in the incident before being picked up by the US C oast Guard vessels and took her in tow. This vessel began to sink so they ran her aground on the seward side of the jetty at the Cape Disappointment Light where this vesselbroke up. |
