On May 09, 1959 her keel was laid by Mrs. W.H. Chant. On October 06, 1959 this vessel was launched by Mrs. W.A.C. Bennett. In 1960 her capacity was 105cars and 969 passengers. On March 04, 1960 her inaugural run was made by Captain T. Parkinson from Swartz Bay to Tsawwassen. In 1970 this vesselwent on the rocks at Galiano Island BC Canada.
