Anecdotes
Gerald LaPointe (British Columbia Nautical History Facebook Group 05/08/2018) states that "Robert Sinclair wrote a note on the back of a photo that the Brant was originally used for oyster research for the Fisheries Branch before going to the Fish and Wildlife Branch where Inspector Sinclair ran her. Privately owned since 1962. Getting some new frames and planks on the stern, and hopefully will be cruising to places yet undetermined in a few weeks."
