In 1969-2004 this vessel was operating in the Western Region. this vessel was a USCG design. Frank Statham (Email to Nauticapedia 21/12/2021) stated "CG106 went to a new SAR station established at Bull Harbor. It eventually migrated down to Port Hardy to a shed on the dock. It was also closer to the Seagate Hotel's pub."
