Anecdotes
In 1983 this vessel was completed at Vancouver Shipyards Co. Ltd. In 2017 this vessel was broken up at Jiangyin, China. Dave Hamilton (British Columbia Nautical History Facebook Group 29/12/2019) states that this history may be inacurately reported - that "this vessel was a cheesy vessel built by Van Ship whereas the Ikaluk was like fine dining … built in Japan to the same plans. I know both these vessels. Never a Canmar ship."
