Anecdotes
William Fiddis (British Columbia Nautical History Facebook Group 24/05/2023) stated "It was a victim of the Beishu Maru on a stern line, the boat flipped. A US Navy ship was moored nearby. The US divers went in as fast as lightning the captain at the top station was saved, the deckhand had drowned by the time they pulled him out. I remember his name as Frank Fagan."
