In 1970-1973 she was owned by the Minister of Highways (Ferries Division - B.C. Ferries), Victoria BC. In 1974 she was owned by The Minister of Transport and Communications (Ferries Division), Victoria BC. In 1975 she was owned by the Minister of Highways (Ferries Division - B.C. Ferries), Victoria BC. In 1976 she was owned by The Minister of Transportation and Communications, Victoria BC. In 1977 she was owned by The Minister of Transport and Communications, Victoria BC. In 1978-1988 she was owned by the British Columbia Ferry Corp., Victoria BC. In 1989-1990 she was owned by the Minister of Finance, Victoria BC. In 1995-2001 she was owned by the B.C. Ferry Corporation, Victoria BC. She was retired in 2001 and sold to the R & G Importadora & Exportadora Co. in the Dominican Republic. She was renamed as the Queen of Ocoa. She was scrapped in 2006 at Alang.

Anecdotes
On May 01, 1961 her keel was laid by Mrs. Harold Husband. On October 24, 1961 this vessel was launched by Mrs. Percy Scurrah. On February 03, 1962 her inaugural run was made by Captain T. Parkinson. In 1968 car platforms were added. In August 02, 1970 this vessel was involved in a collision with the Soviet bulk carrier Sergey Yesenin in Active Pass BC that killed three people. In 1972 an engineroom fire broke out while this vessel was in Active Pass caused by a broken oil lineover a hot manifold. this vessel was towed to Burrard Drydock for repairs.
