In 2017 this vessel was for sale for $32,000 apparently on a mooring buoy at Mill Bay BC. Hull type: semi-displacement. Hull materials: wood planking. Deck materials: cloth over wood. Jillian Player and Kim Shortreed purchased Dorothy Mae on Saturday, February 29, 2020. Dorothy Mae is now moored at the end of the Cowichan Bay Maritime Centre’s pier. Long term, the new owners plan to replace the diesel engine with an electric engine.
