Anecdotes
On January 05, 1974 this floating fuel barge, moored in Vancouver Harbour, exploded, and burned in Coal Harbour BC. Three men were killed in the incident: barge attendant John Campbell; and Clifford Dawley and Edgar Attard who were on board a power cruiser refueling at the float. Tugs at the scene of the incident towed the barge away so that other fuel barges in the vicinity would not be affected.
