Anecdotes
In 1931 this vessel damaged her propeller on Ripple Rock BC Canada. This vessel formed part of the pre-war Fishermen’s Reserve Fleet. this vessel was mobilized as a Fishermen’s Reserve vessel from September 07, 1939 to September 18, 1939. On January 19, 1943 this vesselrammed the fishpacker Algie, five miles from the Ballenas Islands. At first the crew thought it was a glancing blow but this vesselbegan to fill with water. The Koprino took on the crew and the Algie sank.
