Anecdotes
On 23 Sep 1941 this vessel was commissioned into the Royal Canadian Navy Fisherman's Reserve as H.M.C.S. Kuitan. In 1946 this vesselserved as an auxiliary vessel with the Royal Canadian Navy' In 1942 serving as tender to H.M.C.S. Givenchy. In 1943 this vessel was serving as tender to H.M.C.S. Givenchy II. In 1944 this vessel was serving as a tender to H.M.C.S. Burrard. On October 30, 1949 this vesselran aground at Hornby Island BC and was later refloated by a salvage tug on the high tide.
