On March 14, 1973 this fishboat was rammed and sunk in Grenville Channel BC. Bill Carey (British Columbia Nautical history Facebook Group 06/04/2020) states that "Bill Carey Internet research (see Norman Iverson-Living landscapes) shows that in 1973, Koskeemo, after having had her stern torn open and sinking, was later taken to Norman Iverson boat yard in Dodge Cove where a temporary patch job was done with plywood and canvas, and then this vessel was towed to Vancouver." |
