Anecdotes
Patrick McAlister reports that "My father, Daniel McAlister purchased a bare Rawson 30 hull from Beaver Glass Hulls of Richmond BC in 1970. We named the vessel La Querida in honour of a relative that captained an iron sailing barque of the same name. (1876 – 1900) I now appreciate having a record of the provenance of our namesake vessel which father and son built together in the backyard of our home."
