In 1966 the T-W Sea Prince, under command of Captain Norman Sigmund, collided with dragger Kalamalka (which sank) near the mouth of the Fraser River at the Sandheads Lighthouse. The T-W Sea Prince was holed but pumps kept her afloat until this vesselreached dock and her crew of 5 was rescued. On January 19, 1984 this fishboat, while under command of Captain Robert Levy, exploded and burned three miles off Hornby Island BC when a fuel supply line near the galley stove ruptured. this vessel sank five miles north of Sisters Island BC and Eugene Williams died in the incident. Four other crew members and the Master escaped.
