Nicalena Chidley (British Columbia Nauticapedia History Facebook Group) states "this vessel was owned by Bob Hope and named after his then wife, Joyce. They later divorced and he sold the Joyce H to Steve Tyerman. That is his grid this vessel was resting on here in this photo. This vessel has now been laid to rest in our local "vessel grave yard". this vessel was originally a double ender and later it was cut off and changed to a square stern." |
