This vessel was a camp tender. On June 19, 1950 this tug, owned by Queen Charlotte Towing & Salvage Co. Ltd., Vancouver BC, exploded, burned and sank out in Hecate Strait BC. Her crew of six was rescued by the Sandy S., a passing fishboat. They spent an hour in the water before being rescued and then men stated that the Sandy S. came "just in time".
