This vessel was described as being of European registry, operating as an independent rum runner. This vessel is said to have failed to sell her cargo to Americans and sold it instead to Canadians. 50,000 cases were transferred by small boat, at sea, to the Malahat in 1924. (Miles, Fraser (1992)).
