Anecdotes
This vessel was built of built of red cedar planks on oak frames. On December 3, 2006 this vesselhit a submerged object and sank. Tad Roberts (British Columbia Nautical History Facebook Group 25/09/2015) reports that "this vessel sank close to the head of Toba, wintertime, very cold. Hit a hemlock pole end-on, butt came right into the engine room. This vessel went down in 2 minutes, the owner/skipper was alone, jumped in the tin skiff off the roof. Grabbed a portable generator for heat. Picked up the next morning in not great shape."
