This vessel acted as ferry to James Island BC from Saanichton to service the powder works there. Later this vessel was used for towing logs to Sooke BC. Mike Wright reports (British Columbia Nautical History Facebook Group 13/10/2017) that "this vessel sank in Cowichan Bay under mysterious circumstances and was not salvaged." |
