Anecdotes
In 1891 this vessel was built as a San Francisco pilot cutter. While sailing under the command of Captain C.J. Goodwin this vessel was boarded and seized in US waters off Whidbey Island WA by an armed band of striking American seamen. this vessel was forced to return to BC with her tow of logs. The Canadian Government protested what it termed as an act of piracy in 1937. this vessel was rumored to have been a rum runner but Fraser Miles (1992) says there was no evidence of this. In 1960 this vessel was dismantled in Vancouver BC and this vessel sank in the harbour at Blaine WA.
