In 1885 she was owned by Mainland & Nanaimo Steam Navigation Co. (William Rogers and A.C. Fraser). In 1895 she was owned by William Rogers, New Westminster BC. In 1896 the company was taken over by Dunsmuir coal interests. She operated as a collier for the Esquimalt & Nanaimo Railway Co. In 1898-1905 she was owned by William Rogers, New Westminster BC. In 1910 she was owned by Monarch Towing & Trading Co., New Westminster BC. In 1915-1919 she was owned by Ocean Falls Co. Ltd., Vancouver BC. |

This vessel was launched at New Westminster on December 13, 1882. This vessel inaugurated the first regular passenger service between Vancouver and Nanaimo. In 1885 this vessel was used in BC coast mail, passenger and freight service. this vessel was known as 'Dirty Bob' carrying coal from Nanaimo. In 1913 this vessel was abandoned, and in 1917 this vessel was broken up. |
