Anecdotes
In 1948 this vessel ran aground on a small island off 10 Mile Point but was salvaged and repaired at Falconer Marine. On April 07, 1965 this vessel foundered in the Bering Sea. Debris and a liferaft were spotted Bryon Taylor (27/11/2017) states that"Reference RG 24 Volume 5825 File 8000 300/51 General Information - HMCS Sea Ranger states that on March 05, 1940 this vessel was requisitioned for the RCN but on May 20, 1940 the requisition was cancelled and not taken into service with the RCN."
