Anecdotes

In 1917-1918 this vessel was in service to the Dolly Varden Mine in Alice Arm BC. In 1947 this vessel was aground on Trial Island BC. In 1965 this vessel was in scheduled cargo service to Seymour Inlet. In 1978 this vesselgrounded in Drewery/Drury Inlet BC. Larry Warner (British Columbia Nautical History Facebook Group 17/11/2020) stated "Carelessly tied up in Lower Bay, Copeland Islands and allowed to go aground. She's heading for the bottom. 20 minutes later the old girl was gone. Now a site for divers. We arrived with our tug but nothing could be done."
