Anecdotes
In 1941 this vessel was seized from her Japanese owners by the Canadian Government. In 1942 her ownership transferred to His Majesty the King (Japanese Fishboat Disposal Committee). Ian Estabrooks reports that on August 25, 1966 this vessel sank at Malcolm Island BC. in spite of showing up on the Canada Register of Shipping until 2001!
