In 1941 this vessel was seized from her Japanese owners by the Canadian Government. In 1942 her ownership was transferred to His Majesty the King. On October 26, 1953 this fishpacker ran aground on a rocky beach at Magdalena Point near Jordan River BC. Her crew of four escaped in the ship's dinghy. High winds and pounding waves destroyed the vessel and this vessel became a total loss. |
