The design for her conversion was done by R. H. Richards. In 1966 this vessel was placed on Vancouver - Swartz Bay as a railcar carrier with 4 tracks. In 2003 this vessel was operating with a helipad as a logging camp. In 2022 this vessel was reported to be sinking at Campbell River BC. The contract for the salvage and deconstruction of the 300’ barge (converted from the CP ship) ‘Trailer Princess’ commenced on August 22nd, 2022. The contract was awarded to AMIX / Marine Recycling Corporation (A/MRC joint venture). The project was expected to take 40 days and was completed on October 17, 2022. |
