Anecdotes
Tad Roberts stated "Teco III, a mystery, currently not listed in Nauticapedia. A beautiful and substantial vessel, designed by Edwin Monk in about 1937, 50' x 12'2" (15.24 x 3.7m) and built by Vancouver Shipyards (Coal Harbour) for Alfred James Towle Taylor of Vancouver BC, launched July 1939. In 1941 sold to Clifford J. Page of the USA and moved south to the Columbia River. In 1942 taken over by US Coast Guard, fate beyond that unknown to me. This history is from Sea & Pacific Motorboat of October 1942. Original power was a very early Penta diesel of 100 HP. Photo below is from the owner's film of her launching, the film is stored in the Vancouver Archives."
